How to Get There From:
The Capital of Indonesia: Bintan is served daily by Garuda Indonesia, Lion Air with Boeing 737-500 aircraft and by Sriwijaya Air to modern Raja Haji Fasibilillah Airport in Tanjung Pinang, the capital city. It takes 45 minutes by car from the airport in Kijang to reach Bintan Lagoon Resort. Even though taxis are available, you can book at the hotel to pick you up from the airport.
From Singapore: Bintan Lagoon Ferry has two departures from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal, namely at 09.00 and 16:00 Singapore time, while departures from Bintan Lagoon are at 11:45 (Friday only), 1:00 and 17: 10 West Indonesia Time . The journey from Singapore to Bintan Lagoon immediately takes 75 minutes. Please note that during the rainy season when there are strong winds and high waves this ferry will not operate.
You can, however, also take the Bintan Resorts ferry from the Red Land Terminal in Singapore to the northern Bintan ferry terminal from Bentan Telani, which is a short 45-minute trip from Singapore. From here, the hotel coach will take you to Bintan Lagoon. If you want to travel from Batam to Bintan, there are also regular ferries from Batam to the Ferry terminal in Tanjung Pinang.
